Currently we have positions for Business Analyst for one of our Banking project here in Singapore. This is a permanent position to be based out with us in Singapore, details as below.
Business Analyst to work on a number of front office trading systems in the Cash Trading team. The successful candidate will be required to collect business requirements either directly from the business or via other business analysts working in other regions and write detailed requirement documents. The candidate will be expected to work for the following business lines: repo; global bond blotters; electronic trading and trade services.
Responsible to carry out the following activities:
Ø Develop effective working relationships with internal clients in both the business and IT
Ø Analyse and collect business requirements either directly from the business or by working closely with other business analysts in other regions.
Ø Translate requirements into function/technical specifications.
Ø Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are met.
Ø Work with QA to develop test plans and play an active part in testing/validating deliverables.
Ø Minimum of 4 years working as an IT/Business Analyst in a structured environment.
Ø Proven track record of delivering solutions.
Ø Strong verbal & written communication skills
Ø Knowledge of at least one Structured Methodology (eg SDLC, SSDM).
Ø Knowledge of logical relational database design / SQL.
Ø Working knowledge and application of SQL.
Ø Any investment banking experience and knowledge of products
Ø Self-starter/fast learner
Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills (a must)
Ø Very good Time Management skills and ability to multi-task
Ø Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
